The most memorable experience with one of my customers was when they sent me a photo of my creation with happy faces.
What sets you apart from other sellers who are selling similar items?
I'm not sure. I think that because I sell a large variety of things that people enjoy stopping by to see what new things I've added.
How did you learn the skills that make you successful today?
I come from a large family of crafter's and talented artists, I guess it was born in me.
Do you have any formal training in your craft?
No

To be able to help my husband support our family.
What keeps you motivated when sales are slow?
Interacting with family and friends. They are my back bone.
What do you do to attract new clients and encourage re-occurring business?
Promote-promote! I send out monthly emails to keep my customers updated on sales and or new items added.
If you could share one piece of advice with someone who is considering opening their own store of handmade items, what would it be?
Create what you love, Not what you think will sell!
That's great advice Seliek! Please check out Seliek's etsy shop, just click on their name to be re-directed to their website.
We also noticed that they have a layaway plan for their items, looks like a new promotion so check it out!
